The annual Ski to Sea Race in Bellingham, Washington follows participants from throughout the globe as they compete in a seven part race from cross country skiing the slopes of Mount Baker to kayaking the Nooksak River. Eight person teams take part (two for the canoe portion) in the Ski to Sea. It ends in Fairhaven and the party starts even before that.

The race covers over 100 miles of terrain and multiple sports: Leg 1 = Cross Country Skiing, Leg 2 = Downhill Ski/Snowboard, Leg 3 = Run, Leg 4 = Road Bike, Leg 5 = Canoe, Leg 6 = Mountain Bike, Leg 7 = Sea Kayak.

WE ARE BRINGING BACK THE BLOCK PARTY!!! 2011 Party will be NEW and IMPROVED and open to everyone of all ages! Wear your best Hawaiian Luau outfit and get ready to hula for a chance to win two tickets to Honolulu, HI, courtesy of Alaska Airlines!

Event Will be held at Boundary Bay Brewery on Railroad Avenue.
It will include music, dancing, food, and fun! First 800 racers with their bibs to show up get an official Ski to Sea drinking glass!
